We are open to flexible working options post COVID and can accommodate a split between home and office working. The role does require full time working hours over a 5 day week.

The main purpose of this role is to be the technology leader, partner and adviser for the enablement of the business strategy of our Chubb Global Markets (CGM) business, providing IT leadership and direction to:

•    Drive Superior Customer and Employee Experience
•    Deliver Technology that Enables Business Efficiency & Growth 
•    Provide Systems Management that Ensures a Secure, Stable and Compliant Technology Capability for our Business to Operate.

Other Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing technology strategy leadership and direction to enable the business growth strategy and transformation to new Target Operating Model 
  • Management of all technology provision, systems enhancement, support, maintenance and security for all CGM and regional Property & Casualty technology and systems. 
  • Drive superior customer and user experience by simplifying systems landscape and improving user interface and journey. 
  • Improving our business knowledge through appropriate training, communications and management information
  • Provide operational support for the CGM and regional Property & Casualty business units across Europe, Eurasia & Africa; including coordinating IT provision by other departments of Chubb and by any supplier. 
  • In conjunction with ITS and business colleagues, work to ensure the security and integrity of infrastructure, operating systems, data and applications for CGM and P&C. 
  • Provide support for Internal Audit, Compliance and Information Security in ensuring regulatory compliance and compliance with all Chubb policies and procedures.
  • Manage the release of incident fixes and enhancement changes to production applications ensuring minimal disruption to business and resolution of outages or vulnerabilities within agreed SLAs.
  • Manage allocated budget to agreed financial plan, drive cost optimisation and delivery operational process efficiencies through automation 
  • Lead, coach, manage and mentor direct team and regional IT employees.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Extensive experience delivering complex transformational change programmes in large organisations across a global scale
  • Extensive Insurance industry experience that includes Lloyds and complex wholesale insurance markets, with knowledge of systems and processes.
  • Strong programme management experience including business process re-engineering, business change management, communications, stakeholder management, technology delivery and risk management
  • Delivery focused with experience of delivering large complex programmes on an iterative and incremental basis across multiple workstreams and delivering business value on a continuous basis
  • Change leader and driver willing to push the organisation forward with ability to communicate a clear vision that unifies all teams and has demonstrated in a previous role
  • Experience of managing performance of 3rd party vendors
  • Considerable knowledge and experience of leading application support and maintenance for a range of application systems (with ITIL knowledge an advantage). Including; incident, enhancement and release management
